Im trying to change my receiver end plate and cant seem to get the locking nut off the buffer tube. How much force is required to remove it?  I have the M-4 locking nut wrench but dont want to over do it.

it might be staked, I have never had an AR lower with a staked nut but I beleive to break the stake you just need to use more force.  Also it might be red loctited which in case you would need to heat it up some to lossen the loctite.
