| HEY THERE GUYS I AM TOTALLY BAFFLED HERE AND I AM HOPING YOU CAN HELP ME OUT. I PURCHASED A DPMS BULL 20" STAINLESS OFF OF GUNBROKER SUPPOSEDLY IT WAS ONLY FIRED 200-300 ROUNDS AT COMPETITIONS AND VERY ACCURATE. WELL NOT THE CASE I TRIED FEDERAL AMMO AND GET 9" GROUPS AT 50 YARDS AT 100 YARDS IT IS OFF THE PAPER AND IT IS NOT THE SCOPE I PUT IT ON ANOTHER AR AND DOES 3 IN THE SAME HOLE GROUPING. NOW TODAY I TRIED WOLF AMMO, REMINGTON, BLACK HILLS AND EVEN HANDLOADS ALL WITH VARIOUS GRAIN HEADS AND MY FINDINGS ARE ALL THE SAME IT JAMS, DOESN'T FEED DOESN'T EXTRACT PARTIALLY EXTRACTS AND SO ONHERE ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED AS WELL AS CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM it is a flat top upper. as mentioned above scope is fine i put it on another rifle and sights in great. it is a floated one piece hand guard. if it is torqued down to much can this cause problems and if it is torqued to tight does it cause permanent damage? thanks again |

ok, is it a flat top? or an A2 upper? Flat top, I would look to see if the optics were lose or broken. Do you see any obvious damage to the crown of the barrel? Got a bore scope? Is the barrel loose? Take off the handguards and check the barrel nut. I would think even a worn out barrel would shoot better than that. Could the sites be loose if it's and A2? Do you have any people close by who could look at it? Do you have parkinsons? ![]() Good luck TXL OH, AND TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK!!! |
