Are M4 feedramps the exact same thing as "extended ramps"?

Is an M4 profile barrel the same thing as a "Government Profile" barrel?

Extended ramps and M4s may be the same, or the extended ramps could have been cut after the fact to replicate M4 ramps, in which case they will generally not be anodized (on the receiver portion).

Government profile refers to the profile that the M16A2 and M16A4 use (barrel thin under the handguards but heavy in front of the front sight base).

The M4 profile usually is called just that because it has an additional relief cut in front of the FSB to facilitate mounting grenade launchers.  What look like M4 barrels may or may not be thin underneath the handguards.  There is also a configuration often called SOCOM, where the M4 barrel isn't thin underneath the handguards, but isn't quite a heavy barrel there either.  It has relief flats cut under the handguards to facilitate mounting a grenade launcher.
