What is the largest semi automatic caliber available for the AR-10? I could have sworn I saw one chambered in 300 Win Mag, but maybe I was mistaken.

I've got one in the shop that is a DPMS chambered in 300 SA Ultra Mag if that helps.

I saw on AR10 online a while back in .300 WSM.  I think it's made by Accuracy Systems, but I'm not sure and don't feel like searching for it right now.

Did anyone see the recent "Future Weapons" on TV where they were showing the new AS50? Although not exactly a version of the AR platform it sure looks like they studied the AR platform when designing this monster. I couldn't help but chuckle when they were explaining how the "spring and buffer tube" reduced the felt recoil.

Yeah, and a great big muzzle brake doesn't hurt either.

So how much of a difference is there between 300 Win Mag and WSM?

Are you referring to standard, off-the-shelf ammo that can be found at most gun shops or are you referring to any caliber in general.

For standard calibers, I would think the largest you might find is any of the WSM or RSAUM variants, with the 30 caliber most prevalent.

For the custom calibers ... check in the Variants section, there are some good threads there.  At this time, I know the .500 Phantom and .470 Rhino exist, but quite likely there are others.

I've seen a .50 Beowolf conversion kit for sale by Cabela's. I don't recall the manufacturer but I think it was Knight.
ETA- Sorry just checked. Its an Alexander.

I think Marty has it covered.  This is what he creates

470 Rhino WSM in the middle. You be the judge
