Last weekend at a local gun show I came across a gun I liked, and couldnt really pass it up, but I am wondering if I got a decent deal or not.

DPMS stamped on the 20in barrel.
PWA lower - Serial #28xxx

In practically new condition, with one 30 rd magazine and a pretty decent case for 650.

Did I get screwed?

Sounds like a pre-ban - you could sell it for a little extra $$$ to someone in a Ban state.

haha...no I am pretty sure that it is an AR.

Actually I got 34 rounds through it and an unfired round jammed so tight in the chamber that I had to oh so carefully disassemble the gun and tap it out using a cleaning rod. It was a bit angering, but upon a closer inspection it was rather dirty, and after shooting it again, all was well. Seems pretty accurate too.

Don't use wolf ammo or reloads with an unknown pedigree.

My dads dpms is also very picky on ammo. That is until we found that it was chambered in .223 and we were doing 5.56 reloads. Check yours out too and make sure you have the right ammo
