That on most AR's you can see light if you hold the rilfe up and look where the two halves meet? Why dont they fit together better? On my bushmaster i had and on alot of the big names in Ar's i can look at them, and see light whre the upper and lowers meet. It seems they would fit together better.

If you mean upper and lower rec. play. Thats normal and desined into the rifle. Allows for a wider range of uppers from diffent manufactures to be used. Not all are like that. There are posts of people with RRA uppers and lowers that are so tight they cant brake them down or reasseble. The key part of the AR is how well the barrel is mounted to the upper. And how well the bolt fit's with a round in the chamber. Along with quality of barrel manufacture.

Normal as it should be.If there was no play youd need a hammer and a punch to seperate..you dont want that in a rifle where no tools should be needed to seperate and clean the weapon..thats what makes it field friendly.

If you don't have a polite response go back to General Discussion. Everyone has to learn somewhere.
