so i'm wondering (after doing an extensive search here) since i'm bucks down at this time. instead of laying out a bunch of cash for what i want bolt action wise. why not get another bbl (20") and either seal off gas port OR purchase one w/out port drilled and make me a single shot ar. Reason being i already have 1 short ar with the QCB bbl (www.mgimilitary.com) with a halo from gem-tech. thinking i could drop a 20" bbl on it with halo and have a quieter ar for varmit use. not that i have any issues with running it in semi mode. looking at less noise without bolt being actuated AND the clean factor. shooting suppressed means i actually have to clean my rifle after shooting ! yes i am planning on a suppressed bolt action in the future, but for now just don't have the cash UNLESS some one here is interedted in buying my 03 H-D dyna-glide  |
