Does anyone offer a milspec 4 position buffer tube besides Colt?

Also, CMT makes the original style CAR stock that fits on a milspec tube.  Who has these for sale.  I just want the stock with the latch.

Does anybody know how to use the search?

CMT, LMT, and Vltor.

CMT, LMT, and Vltor.

I asked for a 4 Position tube.

Do you really think that I didn't know CMT, LMT, and Vltor make a milspec diameter tube?

IIRC Rainierarms.com used to sell 4 (& 6) positions CMT tubes...but I don't see it anymore...only 6 positions...
you should contact Stickman

Agreed.

I recently purchased one of the 4 pos tubes from Ranier.  Added it to my Colt M4 stock body and am now have a legit looking Colt M4 stock.

Why 4 position?

Stag??? I'm not sure if they will sell just the stock body though.

Also, from what I see in their catalog the Stag/CMT Gen 1 stock bodies may have a shiny finish as compared to a Colt. I would like to see the difference if there is one to be seen. Pics please... Anyone.

An M4 stock with a 6 position mil-spec tube shouldn't look any different than an M4 stock with a 4 position mil-spec tube as long as the stock body is on it.

Also, from looking at my Stag catalog it appears that CMT/Stag tubes might be shinier than the Colt brand tube. Again, any pics to show if there is a difference would be nice.

Because Colt is 4 position, that is why he is asking.

Scott

I remember KevinB stating to me in a thread about his real M4 that he has seen the newer ones coming with a 6 position.

Just FYI.

ETA: For the OP questions,

I have not seen anyone selling a 4 position.

Contact Stag and see if they can get you a latch etc, that you need.

This has never been proven true and if it was, I would be one of the first to know.

I don't like 6 position tubes.  Too much adjustment and dicking around.

If you need a CMT CAR stock, talk to Kiser Munitions, they may have a few take-off's lying around.

OK - so what's wrong with those? I ask because I was considering get one or 2 myself so I am curious to know what fault you find with them?

I don't have a fault with them.  I just saw one time that somebody had them for sale for cheap and I want them for a beater.
