[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My First AR 15

Hello, forum! Thanks for your advice and helpfulness. I finally took the plunge and received my first Ar-15. It is a mid-length carbine M4gery with a flat-top and detachable carry handle. I haven't even shot it yet because I have been so very sick since Christmas and hopefully I will get the chance to do so soon.

Aside from already having front and side swivels, and a few spare mags, what else would you recommend I get for it?

Kicking around the idea of getting some sort of optics sytem for when I take off the detachable carry handle. I am a total AR-15 "newbie" and was wondering what the next step was other than shooting the heck out of it. ;)

Congratulations, you're fucked now. If you only have one it will proliferate asexually. Once you have more than one they multiply like rabbits.

More mags, more ammo and more practice. How about some pics!?!?

ETA: my favorite accessory for a gun is ammunition.
