[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Manufacturer codes

I remember seeing a site which lists on the codes stamped on upper and lower receivers, but have been unable to relocate it. Can anyone help me out.

Thanks for the link. I have an upper with K stamped on the carrying handle and did not see it on the list. Does anyone know anything about this code?

Kaiser Forge. Usually accompanied by a C for Colt. If you only have the K, it's probably someones fairly early aftermarket piece. I brlieve Bushmaster used some K marked forgings in the early days.

So far as I know, Kaiser no longer does AR15/M16 forgings, and hasn't for a number of years.
