I've got a problem with an A2 Bushmaster rear sight.  I was getting ready for a trip to the range tomorrow, and went to flip the rear sight from the small aperture to the larger 0-200 rear aperture.  The aperture was a little stiff to move, and when it did I heard a faint pop.  Now the the aperture just flops around and easily moves front to rear.  I'm guessing a spring broke or came loose.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Might be time to disassemble that sight and check it out!

Thanks Quib, that tutorial on the rear sight assembly is just what I need.

Geez, what a bummer this is.  I haven't even fired this upper yet and it's already busted.

Your welcome.

You might try calling Bushmaster and explaining your situation. Maybe they will send you your replacement part(s) for free.
