[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lower markings question

Anyone ever seen a lower marked RIA, I cant remember if it has a logo roll mark or not, but I don't think it does.

A friend of mine has one that is moderately old (25+ years or so).

That is what I was thinking, but it has been tough finding any info.

He has the RIA marked lower and a Palmetto, both in a XM177 style. I will try to get some pics the next time I see him.

ETA: After some more research, maybe it is Rock Island Armory/Sendra?

I have seen a couple semi auto lowers where they had put their mark on Sendra lowers.

Might be a Rock Island Armory/Sendra.

Sounds like Rock Island Armory to me, too. Built two rifles on their receivers in the late 80s. They were made by Sendra. Had old-style Army Ordnance Corps logos, and Sendra rollmarks.

Didn't much like them, but there weren't many choices in those days.
