In light of the Dems ecking out a win in both Houses and having lived through the AWB and the hysteria of the political left I've decided to purchase.

1. One more regular M-4gery probably going with a basic Bushmaster.
2. A High End Gas gun Probably the POF since I already own a fantastic Gas Trap Arms Tech and Joe gave advice to POF on their product.
3. 100 30 round mags.  I buy by price and use any of the military plus C Products.  Most of these will have SS springs for storage.

I make my own ammo but will store a thousand M 193 and M 885 rounds in a stash.

Sounds like a good bit of reasoning to me. And having bought two lowers and twenty five 30rd mags since the elections, and the bitch of a time it was getting them, I believe many more folks are thinking like we are.

I've got on layaway a Colt 6600 AR15A2 and will look for a 6.8 lower.  I have thought about buying lowers and selling them if possible ban.  What would happen is either I build on them with $ I do not have, or a new ban (not gonna happen for a while, if ever) will be all encompassing (scary UN kinda ban).  Also I hate the money making schemes run on fellow gun owners.

Reloading set up is a priority right now for my 7.62.

I have about 2K to burn but want a 98K, Garand, M1 Carbine, ACOG TA01NSN, and a Beretta M9 or SA GI .45.  It's not all gonna fit in the 2K.

i still need to get my mitts on an M1 Carbine... IBM or Rockola...
i still need a 98K and an enfield jungle carbine (to finish my WWII era carbine collection, i know the enfield is post-WWII, but the brits need some representation)

Interesting I went the other way.  I bought 4 M-1 carbines and a Great Jungle Carbine during the Ban.  I sold 2 of the M-1 Carbines to finance my Bushmaster and Aimpoint when the ban expired.  My Jungle C was what I grabbed on 911 as I took two other retired 19D's and in coordination with CID and the DPS we inspected several bridges on a National Highway.  I was the Scout Plt Sgt for a NG unit and several of the DPS officers were my Section Sgts.  I didn't feel unarmed with the Jungle Carbine.
