Seeing as Colt receivers are now virtually impossible to get, I recently ordered some RRA stripped lower receivers on which to build a few rainy day rifles. I can still get many Colt parts from Bownell's and would like to accentuate the rifle with as many Colt parts as possible. My question is how many Colt parts will interchange with an RRA lower?
At the very least I'd like to go with Colt bolt carrier assemblies, Colt Barrels and Colt buffer assemblies. Thanks!

Everything except the trigger, hammer, and pins will fit right in.

You could buy a new Colt rifle for less $'s than you will have in a RRA's with new Colt parts. Colt parts are expensive. Used Colt parts are available with some looking and patience.

Brownells dealer prices:
Barrel $336.40
Bolt carrier $176.85
Bolt $157.97
A4 upper $164.21
Gas tube $38.24
Carbine handguards $49.41
Carbine buffer tube $89.72

With these parts you are over $1000 and you still need many more!

Where then can I get a complete Colt rifle at a descent price?
