Alright, I must admit, being familiar with the operating system that is the AR platform (Don't own one but have handled and shot my Uncles extensively) the one thing that still gets me perplexed is all the variants and what makes them such. Soooooo.... What books can you folks recommend that discuss the different variations of the AR and such? Any general purpose ones out there as well that I should be looking at as well? +1 "The Black Rifle - M16 Retrospective" by Stevens and Ezell "Black Rifle II - The M16 into the 21st Century" by Bartocci These 2 hard cover books are very expensive, but they are the best AR-15/M16 books that I have ever read. Plus they have hundreds of great pictures. |
