| Hey Guys, I am looking for a new upper and have come to the point where I have narrowed it down to an LMT 16" M4 profile or a CMMG 14.7" M4 Profile. The question I have is which one is better quality? I know both are really well made and finished, and price aside, is one better than the other? Thank You for looking............axarob44 |

I wasn't going to offer my 2 cents because I don't own either brand. But I just finished doing a few weeks of research/homework before buying a "tricked out" new upper. I spent a lot of money on just an upper(more than some complete AR's) so I wanted to be sure before I purchased that the guys I brought from were quality dealers. I looked at both CMMG and LMT. Both seem well respected and I was leaning towards CMMG. I did notice that CMMG had a few slams against them for quailty (easy to find if you do a search)and LMT had a few hits for charging too much for their product. When all was said and done, I ended up going with neither. I saw an add in the EE from PK Firearms. Let me tell you....I haven't posted feedback/comments yet because I'm waiting until I actually have the upper in hand, but for price, reputation for quality, a really nice selection and hands down the BEST customer service I have EVER experienced...I will not be buying from anyone else but PK. Did I mention that as hard as I looked, I could not find one bad thing agaisnt these guys. Check out their Sabre Defense uppers before you decide. I know my post may not really help you much, but I wanted to offer my 2 cents since you didn't get any replys yet. |
