With the exception of Colt and FNs military production. there are no makers markings on uppers. What appears on uppers is (usually) the ID of the forge that produced the raw forgings. Since all the producers will use forgings from the same places, that forge mark tells you nothing about who actually made the piece. |
Where is the bushmaster upper marked at? Does it stand out I never looked but am curious since I bought a factory assmebled rifle. |
Every Bushmaster I've every had has been a Cerro Forge (keyhole) upper. The forge mark on a flat top upper is located just behind the deflector. |
