Is 2500 rounds a high round count for a ss barrel or is there still alot of life left?

It depends upon how it was used, and how tight of groups you expect to shoot from it.

Its had 2,500 rounds of match ammunition through it. I will be using it around the house to hunt.

There should be plenty of life left in that barrel.
