hi i got a new stag upper a while back and just got around to throwing it on a lower to go sight it in. I took an ARMS 40 off another upper for the stag one. The arms 40 was pretty much perfectly centered before. in order to get the stag upper zero'ed i had the drift the rear sight pretty much all the way to the right is this normal? kinda pisses me off. i dont have pics my camera is broken, but it only has maybe 3 clicks before it is fully screwed to the right |

You may have either a canted front sight base or an over-torqued barrel nut. If it really bothers you, you could fix it yourself or send it to Stag. There's no real harm as long as you have enough windage to zero (sounds like you do), but I can understand not wanting it that way. Do a search on canted fsbs or too much windage and you'll find lots of threads on the subject. |
