Neither have I.  I bought that upper from a member here.  I don't know if it was added or not.

what upper is that?

That GGG rear sight should be moved to the very back of the rail.  The lobes fit down and over the skinny part of the rail right in front of the charging handle.  Then it lay all the way down perfectly flat

Thanks Drunktank.  As far as the upper goes, all I know is what you see.  Is there a way to find more info on it?

Congrat's on your build!

Is it just me or does the handguard look like it is angled upwards in a couple of those pics

It's got a slight incline to it that I can't figure out.  In regards to the upper, this is the add where I bought it.

I have seen those uppers marked like that before. I bought a few from HOPLITE way back in the day and COLT was marking them like that for some reason. I had two like that both 1 was a 6721 upper and one was a comp. HBAR upper. Nice rig.

Nice looking AR, but you might want to refit that MI FF tube.  Take it off and try it agian.  Either the bbl nut is out of spec. (doubtful), or the MI 2 pc FF is out of spec., or you may just have it on wrong.  Good luck.  If the bbl nut is at an angle (kind of like \ ) then your upper receiver may be way out of wack.  I hope that's not the case.  Keep us posted.  I'd like to hear what's up with it.

DBAR

edit - Looked at your pictures again.  If I had to guess I'd say it was the assembly of the FF tube on to the bbl nut.  It doesn't look like it's on correctly.  The flats (flush to the receiver) on both sides should be a lot tighter.  There shouldn't be that big of a space between the top and bottom parts.

Tighten the bolts on the ff clamp like you would w/ lug nuts on a wheel. Looks like the two rear ones might have been done first to handtight. Just a guess.
