I was zeroing a new upper this morning and had to adjust my YHM BUIS almost all the way to the left. After examining my FH, I noticed it was not timed perfectly to 12 o'clock. Can this affect bullet path, or do I look elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

I dont think so ive seen seals M4s /M203 with the hider upside down so the top slot was at 6 oclock..I dont think it will at all, look at barrels that dont have em at all.For what you described check the FSB and make sure its not canted,if not barrel could be too loose, too tight or improperly indexed.

I don't think the FH being incorrectly timed should affect your zero. Sounds like maybe your front sight base may be canted.

Shit, I was thinking the FSB might be canted, but was hoping it wasn't. Thanks for the responses guys.
