okie so i posted it it got deleted for some reason???? Why do some four rail handgaurds cost 300 and some are 100, do they stay cooler or is just a name thing the reason i am asking is i am doing a build and i want the coolest( temp wise ) handgaurds some thing i can touch after 200 rounds as in just dumping two 100 round drums thanks ***please do not delete this post*********** |

Your post didn't get deleted, it got moved. For some reason mods aren't showing threads as moved, so people don't know what happened. If all rail threads are going to get moved to the other section, it should probably be relabeled to avoid the continual confusion and thread moves. I do not think that anybody here has ever done a side by side test on which hand guard stays the "coolest" after 200 rounds. PLUS, "cool" is a subjective term. To answer your question though, if you want "cool" then i would suggest you go with HGs which are more "vented". It will make for faster heat dissipation ... and you should also consider using a vertical fore grip. |
