| I have a 20" bull barrel with a free float forend and maybe it is just the Arizona sun but handguard gets really hot with just a few rounds through it hot) was just wondering if a Wilson barrel will fit into a DCM style free float assy, and if it does will it make enough of a difference in heat to make it worth buying |
| I assume from your post you're using a DCM style free float tube. They are not designed for lots of rapid fire, and are not well ventilated. The only time I'd use one was when I had to for DCM. If you want a FF tube, and don't shoot DCM you have lots of other options, all of which will allow better cooling. |
