Okay, so I know that keeping mags compressed is fine, but I'm wondering if it's alright to keep my bolt locked back when my rifle is just laying around.

Well over extended periods of time it might not be good for your buffer spring, but I’d be more worried about the chamber or bolt collecting dust or dirt.

Why do you want to store it in that condition?
