BATF cashed my $200 SBR check on 7/21/06. I was under the assumption that when they cashed the check you should be getting your paperwork back shortly after that. Anyone know how long after they cashed your check it took for them to mail your paperwork back? Thanks |

Cashing the check is the first thing they do. Even if you are not getting approved they cash the check then return the money later. They are much quicker now than they used to be. Don't get excited unless it goes 90 days past when they cash the check, otherwise I would say, around 60days should get er done |
| There are a lot of variables but I would say right now most are approved and in your hand within 60 days. I had one approved recently in under 30 days on a transfer from me to a first time applier! I swear they cash those checks the day they get them before they even read the applications. |
