I have a series of questions regarding finish on B/BC's.

I have a hard chrome carrier and a phophated bolt. The gas key, screws, and cam are all phosphated too. The finish is pretty much gone on the bolt and it rusted on me. Now I know I can probably refinish it, but probably would be easier to replace it.

Question: does a chrome carrier and phos bolt work together well? I can order the rest of the parts in chrome "key, cam, screws" from Del-ton.com and a phos bolt. But its gonna be roughly $70 for that. And for an extra $40 I can order a complete phos B/BC from them.

If I went that route, is a no name Milspec B/BC just as good as say like DPMS or better? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advanced.

Send your bolt & carrier to Metaloy. They will hard chrome everything for $80.00 plus shipping.

I like the Metaloy option. I think I'll just send in the old parts then. Thanks for the help guys.
