| I am looking to find someone who can flute an AR barrel. Can anyone provide me with information/personal experience on having an HBAR barrel fluted? Thanks in advance for any help. |

I believe ADCO can flute your barrel. You'll end up with a lighter barrel. I believe you can shave off 3/4 Lb easily by fluting the whole contour. You will have more surface area to aid air cooling too. Some peole like to say it makes the barrel stiffer, but it'll only be stiffer than a barrel of the min. diameter contour, not as stiff as the original hvy contour. |
