I don't!  Are you having a cycling issue of some sort?

He means the MGI modular rifle, not the buffer.

Whiskey_Mike,

There are not many of the "Hydra"(C. Cutshaw's nickname for our MGI Modular System) in circulation at this time. It is a very new product.
There was a relatively small first production run that we sold out in January, and we have had some unfortunate production delays since then.
We are looking at sometime in August for a re-supply.
That is why there isn't much response to this question.

After August, you'll be able to get more responses from actual owners, because we'll be filling our large back-order list when we get the next production units in stock.

You might do a search for AR15.com member "Amphibian", who has been rather vocal about his experiences with our MGI Modular Lower, although he uses dedicated uppers on it for his various calibers. So, it's not the whole "Hydra" system that he's using yet. Just the lower. The QCB upper has been out for 3 years, and there are alot of owners of that unit around.
The "Hydra" is the combination of our MGI QCB upper, and our new MGI Modular Lower, working together as a package to give the most flexibility in caliber and configurations that have yet been seen ever in an AR15.

Is there a long waiting list for the next production run?

While there is a pretty big backorder list, we have more units coming in on this production run, than there are on the backorder list.
We knew we had alot of backorders, so we made the production run alot bigger than the backorder numbers.
Once the receivers come in later this month, we'll have plenty to go around, and more coming in every month from now on.
We hope that we'll be able to continuously supply demand now, but I guess if we get really swamped with orders, we might have some short periods where we could run out for a few weeks at any given time.

Getting on the list now is a good idea, because this incoming production run will be billet receivers at the forged receiver price. Once we start shipping, the billet receivers are going to become a $100 optional extra over the forged receiver price.
