Specifically, I need a picture of how the hammer spring should be installed. I checked the build guides, but couldn't find a decent picture. Mostly I need to know if the legs of the hammer spring curl 'over' or 'under' itself as they rest in the trigger pin. |

Thanks for the replies guys. Elvis - That guide is very helpful and is what I used to assemble the lower. It was hard for me to see exactly how the spring went though at first. Stickman- Thanks, that does an excellent job explaining exactly where everything should go. I assmebled one lower based off the guide Elvis linked to and did it correctly. I tried the next 2 by memory and installed it backwards. On one, I had oacassional misfires, but I had attributed it to the .22 conversion kit leaving excessive residue in there. On the other rifle, no malfunctions, but the pins would slowly walk out. Thanks! |
