This doesn't seem to jibe with what I have been learning recently in regards to Colt uppers since I bought one. These guys serious? |
i am sure that this is another branch from that drasen tree to the original poster, you can trust them, or use your money to wipe your ass with and write "tard" on your forehead, the end result will be the same. |
I imagine you have to read that with a bit of a sense of humor. |
That's because that whole paragraph is complete BS. 100% of Colt's pre-1990 semi AR-type rifles had large pivot pins. That's over a hundred thousand rifles over 30 years; certainly no accident. In addition, the lugs on these uppers and lowers are oversize, to accomidate the larger hole. You don't just say "oops", and then ADD metal to a receiver. Finally, the holes are off-set compared to standard-size holes, which would be impossible to do considering a drilling jig is used for all of the receiver holes. And, yes, M&A Parts has a Drasen connection. Buyer beware. -Troy |

I got a 5" slip over flash hider from them the other day and it had missed the 1/2x28 threading operation on the inside. I sent them an e-mail pointing this out and said I would just thread it myself, but they should check the rest of their stock. Their response........................ "Those don't have threads, that's why it's called a "slip over". WTF? Tony Rumore Tromix Corp |
