| It all depends on your preference really. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with any AR, haha but that is the standard answer. Decide what you are looking for, ie do you want a 20" or a 16" M4 variant. If you are looking for long ranges, look at the 20" rifles, otherwise if you are looking for a plinker go for an M4. Then decide what manufacturer you like best, whether it be Colt, Bushy, Armalite. All in all, you can't go wrong with any of those names, however, remember that its not just about the name that's stamped on your rifle. Any AR will serve as a fine rifle, but its the soldier that utilizes the rifle that makes the difference. Congratulations on your decision to seek out an AR, hopefully this advice puts you in the right direction. |
| Well i guess i should just state everything right now ummm like i said im willing to spend 1k on it, not looking for long range action a 16" would be fine, basically this is going to be my first rifle and i just want to get more familiar with them, learn as much as i can, and the reason i chose AR-15 is because my friend has an AR-15 A3 and i like the way it handles. |
