two weeks is scortching fast.

I ordered a RRA A4 with hogue grip a bit over a month ago.   I've been told "six to eight weeks"  and that seems like a common time for others on here.  But it's not unlikely for it to take up to almost 10.

I'm only a month into waiting and it driving me nuts.  I guess all i can say to you is try to forget you bought it otherwise time will drag on forever.

I ordered my RRA with some custom engraving and I was on the "as time allows" list. There were some Gov't contracts that were ahead of me and they said they would fit me when possible. 6 months later, I was blessed with a Tactical Entry. It was worth the wait and I'd do it again in a heart beat. I don't mind waiting for those in true need to get theirs first.

I was told from one source 4 - 6 weeks, another source said 4 - 8 weeks.  I chickend out and paid extra for one that was available locally.

I got mine in 3 weeks, and I lost 2 days because of Thanksgiving. Just get the ammo ready.

Help me out here. I understand if you were looking for something unusual in terms of the configuration but I see a lot of people talking here about long wait times for fairly common models. I simply purchased mine from a dealer that had the config I wanted in stock. No wait at all. Maybe that's just easier to find in Texas but the dealers here that stock them would surely transfer to your FFL. I guess I'm not really the patient sort that could wait ten weeks for my new baby to arrive. -Keith

but if you want a specific config. that they do not carry in stock, you save a lot of $ by waiting for that than by configuring it yourself with parts later, no? I'm into week 7 of my wait and I was told it would be "about 5", so it should be pretty soon!!
