Recently one of my freinds asked me how many guns I owned, and to be totally honest i didn't know. I have picked up one after another over the years. Guess i kinda lost track. So i started to wonder if anyone else has this problem. How many guns do you own total??? I dont have a total count but i should in the next day or two I still have a safe to go though.

I've been evolving into the quality over quantity side of things.....I've had a high of 14, whittled that down to 6, but if all goes well I wil have 3 more Monday night. ( crosses fingers )

i count them occasionally, and usually come up with a different number each time.... can't decide if i bought another or forget to count one or two along the way.

I currently own a 9mm Taurus Pistol, Bushmaster AR15 in transit. Hopefully I'll be able to add a Sig SP2022 and 1911 to my collection.

1.5 Ar's...1 pistol...and yes, ONE 10/22.

Ammo and practice are things I enjoy more than a "collection".
Maybe when I'm making mad loot, then I'll add to the pile.
For now, I'm satisfied.

1 RRA AR, and 1 AR lower that needs an upper. A Remington 870, Glock 22, Glock 19, Glock 26, Sig P239.

So that's 6.5.

I dont count them. Like money, I just lay them on the ground and roll around naked with them for an hour each week. hock.gif

i got 3: 1 busmaster m4gery, 1 20" AR built on a doublestar lower, and 1 springfield m1 garand.

not too bad for a 20 yr old, i still got lots of time to add to the collection, and i cant even buy pistols yet!

Right now I own 2 AR15`s

sold the Colt and my Bushmaster 20 inchers

Kept my A1 Bushy Shorty w/ ML2 and VLTOR

and my LMT M4 14.5 and LMT lower w/ SOPMOD 2 stage w/ 551

I will buy another LMT upper 14.5 for a spare

and get a 20 gov upper also? just dont know what brand maybe BRAVO COMPANY

I'm cutting way back. My ultimate goal is to have two ARs and two 1911s with a .22 conversion for each. Anything less is useless for me.

Interesting question though, if you weren't afraid of a ban, and thought that at any time for the rest of your life you could just walk into a gunshop and buy whatever you wanted for a resonable price, would you bother having a safe full of stuff? This was my old mentality and the reason I held onto my FAL and AK, but one day it dawned on me that even if I couldn't buy them anymore I really wouldn't care because I'd still have no use for them.

Now guns are like tools for me. I need one rifle and one pistol for competing, training, and self defense, and one of each as backups. I buy guns because they serve a purpose, not to stroke my ego or collect a bunch of dusty junk.
