Other than just the name, what, if anything, does Smith's 223 have going for it that you can not get for less with a Bushmaster?

Last time I checked the S&W ARs were selling at a decent price point. The basic setup comes with TROY flip up sights which are extra on most weapons including BM. The upgraded one with the TROY rail is also priced well.

The parts are made by CMT so it's going to be a quality AR IMO.

First and foremost Bushmaster is second only to Colt. The S&W AR has had its reviews, like all its has its good reviews and its bad ones, if your debating between the two buy the Bushmaster, it’s the a superior rifle.

The M&P-15's are nice. I have a T with the Troy FFHG and BUIS. Excellent quality.

As for Bushmaster? Overrated, IMO. And their quetionable use of MP markings leaves me wondering... I'd rather have Colt or LMT.
