I started assembling my first AR yesterday. I bought a custom lower from a shop here in town and ordered the LPK from Steve at Adco. Shipped quick received exactly what I ordered. I found out that the takedown pin detent was missing, shot Steve an email and it's on it's way. Great guy! Thanks Steve, for good products, great prices and good service!

On a sidenote, the front pivot pin detent is much of a PITA as people say it is. I launched it about 7 times but finally got it in. I know this thread is worthless with out pics, but its a run of the mill setup so far. I will post pics of the custom lower today sometime.

Thanks to all who provided useful info!

I did notice that when I first installed the fire selector, that it was a little loose. After a dozen or so umm test firings it tightened up just fine. Is this normal?

Thanks.  I was wondering if it was some upper that ADCO sells.  Lots of acronyms in use here and I am still trying to figure them all out.
