I recently bought a bushmaster v-match carbine w/16" barrel and a buddy has an armalite a4 carbine. His has collapsible M4-style stock and mine has the standard A2. Well, he wants the A2 and I would like to have the collapsible stock to make mine a little more portable and be able to change the LOP so my wife can shoot some. My only real concern is whether or not I'm gonna get a good cheekweld with the M4 stock. Most of my shooting is 200yds and in using a 3x-9x scope and I want to make sure I dont have any problems with the M4 stock. I've also considered buying a Vltor or LMT, but I really don't have the extra money to spend right now. As far as pic request goes, I know there are a few people who have the setup I'm looking for. Just wanna see a gun w/flattop upper, 16" bull barrel w/no FSB, and collapsible stock (M4, CAR, Vltor, LMT, or otherwise). Some of the factory guns that come to mind are Bushmaster V-Match, DPMS Lo-Pro, Oly Ultramatch, etc. I would really appreciate any input or pictures. Thanks in advance. |
