Precision.  Looking at a 24" 1-14".   Would like a 20", but limited to 1-9"??

actually, you'll get better precision using a heavier bullet

so, go with a 1-8"

lots of good heavier bullets out there.

24" is fine, but heavy,

if you go with a bushy varmiter, you should have what you need.

it has a 1-9, but will stablize 69 gr bullets

also, if you can, get a wylde chamber, you can shoot both easily.

if not, go 5.56, more versatile.

MY 20" hbar will do moa all day long with myhandloads.

5.56mm IS .223. One designation is metric and one is in calibers (1 caliber=1/100 of an inch). If someone wants to tell me Im wrong you better have one hell of an explanation.

Yes, you can shoot .223 ammo in a 5.56mm chamber, but not vice versa.

Get a 5.56mm chamber.
