Got a question for the AR-15 veterans out their...  Just got a brand new upper in the mail & looks like rust is covering a lot of the barrel.  Wouldn't this be unacceptable for a brand new upper?  My RRA Entry Tactical doesn't have anything like this.  Tried to attach a pic showing the rust.  What should I do?

It looks more like old preservative, maybe cosmoline or similar. A little brake cleaner on a rag or maybe mineral spirits will probably get rid of it.
