Does the twist rate of a barrel get faster  as the rate goes up or down?
EX. Is a 1/7 faster than a 1/12?
Thanks

1/7, 1 complete twist per 7 inches, much faster than 1 in 12 inches.

i beleve a 1-7 twist means the bullet makes one full turn in 7 inches, so a 1-12 would be one full turn in 12 inches

eta: rifle beat me to it
