[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first AR

I purchased my first AR today. I got a Bushmaster 16" heavy barrel carbine. My camera is acting up at the moment so I will have some better pics up later. I can not wait to go try it out tomorrow. Thanks everyone I learned alot from this site.

awesome rifle! I purchased a M4 bushmaster last week. I LOVE it. Keep it sweet and simple like that. I really like your gun.

I have plans on modding it. Won't stay stock for long. I am deciding on what to add first . I won't be able to get anything fancy until the end of next month depending on my funds.

I just got done doing my first field strip and cleaning, the takedown pin was very tough to get out.

Congratulations, blitzo!!

and as for the quality of the pix...............

1st timer's get a pass.......the "This Picture is Worthless Without Pix" crack is just to confirm the fact you actually have an AR15.

Now that is validated, get busy on those hi-res versions!

well I took it to the range today, I love how it shoots. The only problem was i had 300 rds of Remington UMC 45gr and it jammed like crazy one after the other. I did manage to get 2 mags of 30 to fire just fine. I also fired 100 rds of Wolf no problem. I also got a couple more pics.
