Hey folks,

Thinking towards my next build, and I am looking at putting a full rifle-length Midwest Industries monolithic rail on an upper with a mid-length gas system.

I was wondering which low-profile gas blocks would fit under the Midwest Industries rail.
YHM low-profile or Spectre gas blocks ?

Thanks.

Just about all of them should work (LT, PRI, etc).

I haven't purchased any parts for the build yet...Just trying to work out costs right now.

Are you talking about cutting down the A2 front sight assembly ? I did see the tutorial on how to do that with a dremel tool.

+1 for cutting down the existing fsb since it would be covered anyways and much cheaper than buying one.

I agree with Stick; cutting the FSB would save you time and money; just cut the FSB with a Dremel and trim it to shape, then use some Norell coating to match. Once that's done, just slip the MI MRF and attach flip ups fore and aft and you are on the ball.

Show the build once you're done, Hooah?

Oh-rah!
