Why is it that I've spent a fortune on AR's/optics/etc but can't bring myself to pay $62 + shipping for a TangoDown VFG? I guess it's just the principle...

Send a C&R or sales tax license to Brownells, it will save you some money ($10-15) and you might not have so much trouble making the purchase. |
Ya know, I've got a Brownell's dealer account. Why didn't I think of that! |
You're only addressing half the dillema... Unless you're "only going to get one". Oh sure, VFGs are removable so one can be swapped amongst several different ARs but, I seem to be stuck on the thought that each rail deserves a dedicated VFG... So far the count is 2 TG VFG + one Knights broomstick. ![]() Sly |

While we are on this subject- what about the price of plastic rail covers? Those are rediculous as well. I switched to buying aluminum VFG after breaking a few. My unit also went and bought aluminum. They can be had for $40 or less. Much more durable. If weight is your issue: This is a man's game. |
It's a good one. For the most part I settled for the cheap in college cause I had to. It was hard to break out of that mind set. I'll be 30 this summer so it only took 7 years. |
Where? I've been looking too. I'm sorry, I'm with you guys, the $20 bucks I save can go towards ammo! Seriously, were the discounted ones used or am I missing out on a deal somewhere? Help out a fellow cheapskate! IM me in case there are other cheapskates watching! |
