I have called a few places like Eagle Firearms and Bushmaster but can't seem to find what I want.  I want an RRA upper with a 14.5 pencil barrel and Vortex flash hider.  A low gas block with a high end light weight rail like LaRue in rifle length.  I don't care if it is carbine or mid length gas system.  It needs to be chrome lined. I don't care so much about M4 ramps but it would be a plus. 1/9 or 1/7 is ok.  I have thought about buying a 14.5 LMT and having it reprofiled to superlight, but maybe it would be better to buy a Bushmaster Superlight and have it cut back to 14.5?  What do you suggest?

have you tried CMMG?

they have some lightweight pencil bbls cut to 14.5in w/ perm phantoms and 14.7in w/ perm A2....they might do a perm vortex for you
