I've been unable to break mine and I'm good at breaking things. TD VG is hard to get on and hard to remove.

I believe the CQD is heavier (if weight is a consideration) and it does not have a cover for the tape switch area, unlike the TD. Those are the two downfalls that I see to the CQD grip, but they are minor and didn't stop me from using one.

The TD I have seems very strong. I would be think my rails might break first.

Never had a CQD (too pricey for me) but I love the TD vert. grips and the battle grips and the rail panels while I am at it.

Thanks for the input. I think the Tango Down grip is what I'll go with.

Hi I have Both. Cant go wrong with eather. CQDs only drawback is it does not have a cover over tape switch area.

I personally like the KAC grip, though that wasn't an option...

I used an aluminum VFG for awhile, and discovered that when its cold, the grip is colder. When its hot, the grip is hotter. After going through an assortment of VFG, a Tango Down made its way to me, and I haven't thought of switching ever since.
