I have a new, stripped Colt 6721 Tactical Carbine lower that was given to me in trade.  I was thinking about selling it and had no idea what it is worth these days.  It has never been built and is in great shape.  Obviously it has the small fire control pins.  Any of you Colt experts have any thoughts on its value?  I do not see them sold as stripped lowers on any of the usual Colt sites.  Maybe I did not look hard enough.   Any help would be appreciated.  Mark

Stickman,
Thanks for the fast response.  I figure I gave about $250 in trade for it so I seem to be on the mark.  I await the lowball input.

6721's have been in production for over 10 years, so hard to say what you got.  You say new, does that mean recent production?

He should probably post a pic, or give a partial serial number, otherwise your info is too specific for most of us mere mortals.....

Yeah, there was quite a few changes made in Colt lowers from 1994-current.  I would be interested in one with a BD rather then LBD prefix for my 1995 M4gery project.  Wish I never sold mine.

I've certainly seen and owned a lot more of the LBD.

I really don't like the right side roll markings on the LBD's but at least most don't have that STUPID pinned in block.

these things go for 300 new from SAW if that helps any. (not on their website, but that's their gunshow price)

My local dealers sells 6721 or any Colt stripped lowers for $350.

We have high prices around here where I live.

Your lower should have small 0.250" dia pivot pin and large 0.170" dia fire control pins.

Does it have a pinned in sear block?
