Is there any way to have a 16" barrel with rifle length gas system and have it work reliably?  Thanks, Ian

opening the gas port will give you 99% reliability... most likely the only problems will ever see will be in cold weather... mongo is the guy to talk to about these.

Oh... if you are using the rifle in defense of life, are you happy with a one percent chance of failure?
