Would a 6920 owner be so kind as to measure these lengths for me?

1) From the front of the FSB to the beginning of the taper cut for the M203 mount.

2) From the front of the M203 cut to the front of the barrel.

3) OAL from the front of the FSB to the front of the barrel.

Wanting to see if I could shave down the carbine length FSB, and mount an additional FSB at or close to the midlength position, with the 2nd FSB "straddling" the M203 cut.

Something like this :

Wouldn't the barrel diameter forward of the FSB be to thin?

I'm not sure what the diameter on an M4 barrel is in front of the M203 cut.  Anyone know?

Shouldn't it be .750" under the FSB, and .740" forward, not counting the M-203 cutout?
