You have thousands of rounds of ammo, yet none of it is designated as your "SHTF stash".
 You have not pimped your AR(s) to within an inch of its life with "tactical" add-ons.  You've never inquired about the wounding potential of (insert caliber here) ammo.  You think no AR manufacturer is really that much better or worse than the next.  You've never said "+1" to indicate that you agree with a previous post.  You feel you have enough AR15 (insert item here) to last a lifetime.  You've been admonished or ridiculed here for buying/using (insert brand) products.  You're not secretly looking forward to using Omega Man tactics when "TEOTWAWKI" comes.  You never got pissed off because someone said (insert brand) sucks.  You feel smug having the most bone-stock, totally unmodified AR15 at the range.  You have less than 205 posts on AR15.com   |

I for one would like to get so good with my irons, that I'd shoot far better than anyone with an aimpoint, whenever we're together. I just don't know if it's possible.
 But I'm with you on the whole tactical thing. If someone breaks into my house and announces that he's going to kill us, I don't want to be tactical, I want to kill the guy quick. But the chances of that happening are like 1 in a million. I'd be more likely to get mugged where I work and driving there. My pistol is more handy in my car for that. It'd be even better if we could CCW around here.  edited to add: definition of tactic in dictionary.com: a plan for attaining a particular goal. I guess I do want to be tactical, I just don't want all that stuff hanging off my rifle.
