Does the Arms bipod mount for Harris bipods eliminate the thumbwheel mounting feature on the Harris bipod?

Yes, the ARMS #32 bipod mount will completely replace the thumbweel and sling swivel mount.

My bipod comes loose from its YHM adaptor on a DD rail. Its brother stays put on a Remington 700. The YHM mount is simple and seems O.K. I think something in the combo allows the thumbwheel device to loosten on the AR.
Is the Arms mount a preferred piece, I do not want to do this a third time.
Thanks.

I dont know how many of them ARMS #32 mounts I have... 4 or 5 I guess. I havent had to think about them since I put them on the bipod. Simple, strong design. I believe it is the very best bipod mount made.

Although I'm sure the Larue bandwagon will chime in soon, I'm very content with my ARMS #32.  I was never a big fan of the thumb screw.  With the ARMS mount installed, it makes the Harris bipod look cleaner and the profiler a bit smaller.
