I read somewhere that an outfit called SAW provides a reliability package.  Does anyone have a website or contact info?

Is it worth it?

Is SAW reputable?

Will they tell me there's a two week turn-around, and I'll get my gun back in Feb 0f 2010?

Thanks

They are the largest dealer of Colt parts, and are very well known.  The reliability mods are great if you carry a gun for a living.

Follow the link and talk with Tina.
They where out of stock when I was looking for a 6920 and would have sold it to me.

I used to deal with them years ago when I had my M16 and wanted all Colt parts.
Great personalized service and communications.

Now being back into AR platform and have a Colt, from past experience will deal with them again.

Do you mean walk in off the street, or do you mean to your FFL?

Yes you just need to do an FFL transfer to your location after purchase.

Just so you know, they are almost exclusively a Colt shop. People who've spent the money swear by their "reliability package" but I don't know if they will provide that service to a non-Colt AR?

Last I knew, Ken would work on a couple makes other than Colt, but I don't remember ofhand what they were.

I know i remember seeing on the website way back when i bought from them last that they didn't work on other brands..

I'm sure there's excptions like KAC or WIlson or something but I'd bet they won't be touching a DMPS

Other than being higher than other Colt dealer, SAW is great.
